A same skin disorder in the human beings is generally described using two terms i.e. Leocoderma & Vitiligo. But still these two terms have some causative differences. Basically, Leucoderma means “white skin” and it’s its link with Latin language. The term is also widely used to describe the white patches. This skin disorder generally happens because of the melanin pigmentation absence over the skin.
However, Vitiligo can happen because of inappropriate food combinations, improper hygiene, past history of Typhoid or Jaundice fever, regular intake of pesticide / insecticide treated vegetable, regular intake of junk food, harsh Antibiotic use etc. Stress or sudden emotional trauma is also sometimes referred to as an important cause of Vitiligo.
